Romance in the desert Southwest was all around for Dana and Andrew’s stunning wedding at Hacienda Del Sol Guest Ranch Resort in Tucson, Arizona. Like many 2020 weddings, Dana and Andrew’s original plan for a March nuptial was uprooted and moved to October. It was a decision not made lightly. I know the wedding was smaller and not as the couple had originally envisioned but at the end of the day it was completely perfect.
The location of Hacienda Del Sol is spectacular. The outdoor courtyard where the reception and dinner were held is as pretty and intimate a venue as I have ever seen. Dana and Andrew were surrounded by many loving friends and family who were so happy to be at the wedding at last! They chose not to see each other before the wedding ceremony which made the moment that Dana walked down the aisle, with her father at her side, beautiful and emotional to witness. After the ceremony, we took portraits in the desert which required a little bit of hike in heels, but it was worth it for the Catalina Mountain sunset views. A great party and live music capped off a wonderful wedding day. If a couple can survive planning a wedding during a pandemic then they surely can get through anything together! I wish Dana and Andrew all the best for many years and anniversaries to come.
The wedding came together so smoothly because of the amazing team at Hacienda del Sol along with wedding planners Meagan & Victoria with Crain + Co Events.
